Two years ago I was in the corporate world working 12 hour days, and not creating enough time for either myself, or my relationship with my husband.  Mind you I had a full-time job, and we have two small children.  Any way you look at this, something always gets the short end of the stick. 

As I've discovered the world of sensual products and the fun you can bring to enhance your time together, or by yourself, I'm glad I found it when I did and we haven't wasted any more time beginning to explore this new world.

Choosing a Lubricant

We have a lot of women come into the store who have never used lubricants or have only used KY.  Using lubricant can be a liberating experience sincce it takes some of the pressure off of you - talking to the ladies here - to create your own.  Sometimes depending on where you are in your cycle, you create different levels of your own lubricant, or if your mind wanders - poof, it's gone.  If you want to try a sample pack to see what you like, try Sliquid's Natural Lubricant Sampler.

When you're selecting a lubricant the first question is water-based or silicone.  We're going to keep this easy and straight-forward.  If you're planning on using toys, you need to use a water-based lubricant.  Silicone is great for person-to-person contact and will be your longest-lasting option. The drawbacks to silicone are that it can be hard to get off (that's why it's great in water), and it can stain your sheets.

Picking Your First Vibrator

When you're just beginning with toys you want to start with something inexpensive until you've figured out what you like and don't like. Once you discover what works for you, your body and/or your partner, that's the time to start making greater financial investments in your sensual collection.
